No Breedings Planned At This Time
As those of you who have visited us well know, we are not a huge kennel with a fleet of staff, or a kazillion dogs. We have our own personal dogs, who are our beloved pets and hunting companions. We don't have more dogs than what we ourselves can care for, and we give them the kind of personal, everyday love and attention that a dog needs and deserves, as well as ample food and water, treats, toys, bones, and veterinary care.
That being said, we will occasionally plan a litter. Mainly, if we ourselves want or need to add some dogs to our family. Secondly, if hunting friends request that we have a litter, or we have enough customer requests to justify it. In any event, we will not have more puppies than what can reasonably be placed in suitable homes.
Catahoulas are a RARE breed of hunting dog with unique talents that must be preserved. I would hate to think of a future with no Catahoulas!
